Kallie Ciechomski


8Kallie Ciechomski holds a bachelor of music from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music and is currently pursuing a master of music at Manhattan School of Music studying with Karen Ritscher. As an orchestral violist, she has performed under the baton of Michael Tilson-Thomas, Lorin Maazel, David Zinman and Robert Spano at Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, The Kennedy Center, Boston’s Symphony Hall, RadioFrance and Salle Pleyel in Paris, and on National Public Radio.

Ciechomski’s recent achievements include performances of Pierre Boulez’s “Le Marteau Sans Maitre” with the Marteau Ensemble, five New York City premieres in the past year, and performing as principal violist of Pocket Opera New York, One World Symphony, Empire State Sinfonia, and Manhattan School of Music’s Symphony Orchestra, Jazz Philharmonic and Opera Orchestra. She has also been singing and playing with several independent pop artists in New York City and her native Portland, Maine.
